of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers
WELCOME
The Capital District Chapter of
the New York State Society of Professional Engineers is an
organization of local engineering professionals whose joint purpose
is to advance the welfare of the Engineering profession by
preserving and promoting high standards of ethical conduct and
practice by members of the profession; cultivating public
appreciation for the work of the engineer; assisting motivated young
people in obtaining reliable information concerning the profession
of engineering; and encouraging all qualified engineers to seek
legal status through registration
The Chapter organizes events to provide educational, networking and
social opportunities for engineering professionals, and hosts annual
fundraising activities to support our scholarship fund which
encourages area youths and assists them in pursuing an engineering
education, in order to continue the tradition of technological
excellence in the Capital District.
